Velvet tales of zestiria wiki6/1/2023 In some other way it has nowhere near the same amount of complicated systems. If there's one thing Arise does, it's make things easy and accessible, especially for newcomers.Īrise changes up a lot of things, and also takes a lot of different elements from a variety of past titles, so it's a bit moot to say what is new and what comes from which game. My question is, does it follow the pattern of the latest 2 games with how complicated and micromanaging the systems are, or does it adopt gameplay similar to the older games? Something different entirely? I figured this would be the best place to ask. ![]() Well, right now Arise is like $38 for the Ultimate edition. I longed for a simpler battle/weapon/etc system like before where you basically leveled, upgraded gear by buying it, and used artes repeatedly to make them stronger. I had heard Berseria was better, so I started playing it, but when I noticed that they had adopted a lot of the stuff Zestiria had put in place, I ended up quitting it pretty quickly. I grinded through that game begrudgingly and finished it. It seemed like they took the Tales formula and just made it overly complicated and I wasn’t enjoying it. I felt like I had to memorize a book to play the game effectively and even then, I felt like I was micromanaging constantly. There were a few things I didn’t enjoy about it, but the main things were the sheer amount of subsystems whether it was in battle, weapons fusion, etc. ![]() I’ve played Phantasia, Symphonia, Vesperia, The Abyss, Graces F, Xillia and Xillia 2. ![]() So I’ve played several Tales games in the past and have generally liked the series.
